Social distancing has been hard for everyone specially for me because I am away from my family in Schenectady. But this day was particularly nice because I had a meeting regarding this project and my project instructor brought her dog Finn. This was the first time that I meet my instructor Sarah in person so I was very excited but it was still a bit weird because under regular circumstances this meeting would have been held in her office but we did it in the benches on campus. I got to see how Omeka works while keeping a safe distance for each other. It was definitely interesting. Naturally we had to keep six feet between us but not necessarily with the dog. It was particularly nice for me because I really miss my dog and with all the stress I did not really think about how nice it would be to relax for a while with a dog. It definitely made my day.
